The first place in its class (4-20 millions Passengers) for the integrated support offered to development activities, won the Athens airport, during «ROUTES Europe 2015», the most important meeting of aviation.
More specifically, the "El. Venizelos" took the lead in votes’ airlines this year's Routes Europe, held in Aberdeen, Scotland, on 12-14 April.
In Routes, airlines evaluate airport support programs that respond to the need of new services, new itineraries and the strengthening of their presence in the local market. In this sector, the Athens International Airport is the most awarded airport worldwide, with 14 distinctions in 11 years.
