In Germany’s Neustadt Dosse, the first day of the international CSI2* event concluded with a 1.40m class, colouring Greek. After an exciting competition it was Aggelos Touloupis who claimed the victory aboard the 12-years-old Coco Chanell 15 (by Cellestial). Germany’s Felix Hassmann followed as runner-up with the 8-years-old Baron WZ (by Baloubet du Rouet). The pair needed over three seconds more. The Greek combination finished clear in 48.81 seconds while Hassmann needed 51.93 seconds to cross the finish.
Amke Stroman followed in a third place. Together with the 17-years-old Grejs-son Goldorac the made it a clear finish in 52.95 seconds. The top five was completed by Sweden’s Denise Svensson (Lady Joy 2, by Lancado) in fourth and Philipp Schober (Zandigo TS, by Lupicor) in fifth.
Dutch Zoi Snels placed sixth with the remarkable 8-year-old Stakkato-stallion, Starpower TN. Manfred Schäfer’s breeding product, in ownership of Team Nijhof, is the halfbrother of Cian O’Connor’s Saphir 416 (by Salito). The gelding who was recently active on an international CSI(O)5* level.
