The state budget for 2016 was tabled at noon in the Hellenic Parliament by Finance Minister Mr. Euclid Tsakalotos, delivering the transportable memory card to the President of the Hellenic Parliament Mr. Nicholas Voutsis.
The Minister of Finance filed the Introductory Report for the financial year 2016, the volume of tax expenditures for 2016 and the Reports of the Directors General: General Accounting Office, Tax Administration, Customs and Excise, public and non-profit Estate Property of the Ministry of Finance.
Upon receipt of the budget, the Parliament President informed the assembly that it will be introduced for discussion in the appropriate Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday, November 25th. The discussion - vote on the budget will begin in plenary Tuesday, December 1 and will end with a roll call at midnight Saturday, December 5th.
