George Michalakis is a lawyer, originally from the village Egrigoros, North Chios, elected in Cape Town with the party of the Democratic Alliance. He is third generation Greek. In an interview for «amanivoice» in Chios, a few days ago, he says he is very proud to be a Greek origin.
Moreover, his Greek roots are often mentioned in his speeches in the House, while next year he plans to visit Greece and attend the "World Encounter" planned by Greek origins from this village who live today in all parts of planet.
