On January 10, 2015, signed by the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople, in the presence of Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew cooperation agreement between the Hellenic Parliament and of the Holy Patriarchal and Stauropegic Monastery of Holy Trinity, Halki Constantinople.
The pact signed by the Secretary General Mr. Athanasios Papaioannou and on behalf of the Monastery Copper Metropolitan Elder Derkoi Mr. Apostle, president of the board of the Monastery of Saint Trinity.
With the Covenant inaugurated cooperation between the Hellenic Parliament and the Monastery, which provides expertise through experts from the Library of Parliament in order to catalogue priceless volumes of the Library of the Monastery so as to maintain and preserve the spiritual wealth, kept in the Monastery of Halki.
On Friday, January 9, 2015, Mr. Papaioannou Head of Delegation of the Parliament visited the Monastery of Halki, which houses the Theological School of Halki and was toured the premises by the Abbot of the Monastery Mr. Elpidoforos.
