Mary Katranzou, the Greek designer who has taken the fashion world by storm with her unique and colorful prints, embroidered designs, and style, showcased her collection for 2019-2020 at London Fashion Week.
Katranzou has been active and successful on the global fashion scene for a decade, and nowadays, many celebrities such as Rihanna adorn themselves in her designs.
The Greek designer first burst onto the fashion scene while attending Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, when during her studies, she managed to sell some of her prints to designer Bill Blass — something which influenced the young designer to change her focus from prints for interiors to fashion prints.
As a result of seeing success with her print designs, Katranzou went on to build up a portfolio for the Central Saint Martins master’s fashion textiles course.
Today, the Greek fashion guru’s collections can be found in over 200 fashion shops, including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Barneys, Neiman Marcus, Colette, 10 Corso Como, Joyce, Luisa via Roma, Mytheresa, Hiphunters, Stylebop, Opening Ceremony and Net a Porter — and spans a reach of 47 countries.
