The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT Health) has awarded a Greek medical start up the highest distinction during this year’s Innostars Awards.

This distinction advances Greek start-up BookingClinic in becoming a reliable conduit between patients and medical providers.

“The idea was born through a real incident when a loved one had to be treated for a difficult and very expensive procedure. We then realised that what we take for granted information and services that we readily use the internet for such as searching, comparing and evaluating products and services, but was something that was not available in the case Clinics and their medical services” said co-founder Thomas Hatzistergiou.
