The Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.) organizes the second in a row photo contest and invites all interested parties to participate in this.

The contest is dedicated to buildings monuments of Eastern Christian tradition, whose importance is too great and are part of the cultural heritage of all peoples of the earth. The Ι.Α.Ο. chose this particular time period, where humanity once again witnesses the destruction of cultural monuments by fanatical religious groups.

The new photo contest organized on a proposal from the Committee on Culture of the Secretariat of the I.A.O. in celebration of the year 2016 as the year of people's friendship of Greece and Russia, in collaboration with the online community www.orthphoto.net.
