During the period 20 to 23 July, the Hellenic Parliament hosts the 10th General Assembly of the World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association (W.H.I.A.), held every two years.

Purpose of W.H.I.A. is the creation of relations and communication between Greek origin parliamentarians in non Greek-speaking countries, and the promotion of Greek culture and Greek language in these countries.

Members of W.H.I.A. are persons of Greek origin who are members of Legislative Bodies in non Greek-speaking countries.

The agenda includes joint meetings with members of Committees of Greeks Abroad, National Defence and Foreign Affairs, Production and Trade and Cultural Affairs.
