Larissa became the first Greek city to receive the UNESCO Award for "Learning Cities"

The UNESCO Award for "Learning Cities" was awarded to the city of Larissa. The prize was received yesterday by Mayor of Larissa, Apostolos Kalogiannis, who was with a delegation of the municipality in Cork, Ireland, as part of the International Conference on "Learning Cities".

It is noted that Larissa is included in the 16 cities of the world awarded by UNESCO and is the first Greek city to participate in the International Network of "Learning Cities" but also the only one that has been awarded the relevant prize.
