An exhibit featuring more than one hundred and fifty priceless objects from ancient Greece will open at the Indianapolis Museum on June 15.
The show, titled “Treasures of Ancient Greece,” and featuring scientific inventions, sculpture, jewelry, armor, vases, and more, will run until January of 2020.
The exhibit, in partnership with the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports, will allow visitors to explore the history and mythology of the ancient Greeks and discover how the ancient Greeks influenced the realms of sports, government, entertainment, and beauty.
The museum says that it will be one of a kind experience which will bring museum visitors face-to-face with timeless Greek treasures from antiquity.
