Message of peace and solidarity, against war, nuclear, violence and fascism sent during their visit to the Hellenic Parliament the occupants of the "Ship of Peace", including eight survivors of the holocausts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which were received in a special plenary meeting in the Parliament. The initiative for the reception of the "Ship of Peace" had the President of the House, Zoe Konstantopoulou, in cooperation with the President of International Organizations and Globalization Observatory, Panos Trigazis.
This year, world trip of the "Ship of Peace" is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the anti-fascist-Nazi victory in WWII and the sad 70th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The ship sailed from Yokohama, Japan on April 12, 2015, with 1200 occupants of many nationalities, carrying around the world the message of peace. The trip lasts 93 days, passing through the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean and reaching the USA and Latin America.
