The law aims at the consolidation, completion and modernization of accounting rules of the country in order to create an integrated and functional accounting and regulatory framework for businesses and other entities. The implementation of the new accounting framework fights overregulation and serves the need for transparency and reliability of financial reporting, conditions conducive to the smooth functioning of the market. Thorough consideration has been taken to implement the principle of EU "think small enterprises”, in order to reduce administrative costs.
