In Rhodes, Sunday, March 7, the celebrations for the 67th anniversary of the incorporation of the Dodecanese into Greece were peaked, in the presence of the Speaker Ms. Zoi Konstantopoulou.
After the celebrations, the Speaker said: "The Hellenic Parliament celebrates the anniversary of the Union of the Dodecanese with Greece and thus honors the struggles of our people for freedom, national independence, national unity, Democracy, Rights, Dignity”.
These struggles are timely as ever and memory helps wakefulness. Things which are granted and vested today, were once sought and claimed. Today, once again, we demand release from practices and tactics that oppress the peoples and Democracy in Europe".
