Three Greek students have made Greece proud by taking home Gold medals in the Muay Thai Pan- European Championship, which took place in Turkey on December 3rd.
Nasou Argyropoulou, Dimitra Gournaki and Dimitris Alexiou had an outstanding performance throughout the competition and won Gold in their divisions. Dimitris defeated two of his Turkish competitors to take first place.
Muay Thai boxing is called the “Art of Eight Limbs” because combatants always have eight different methods of striking available to them, including punches, elbows, kicks, and knees (the hardest parts of your body).
Renowned for its hard sparring and demanding conditioning regime, this sport is becoming more and more popular worldwide.
