The University is located in 51th place after its recognition for the 4th consecutive year by the special edition «THE 100 Under 50», which comes to supplement the global ranking from the issue of Times Higher Education.

This is a recognition of the efforts and effectiveness of the institution on teaching, research, knowledge transfer and extroversion that demonstrates to both the internal community and to the outside, particularly as regards the ranking of universities under 50 operating years.

The fact that the University of Crete is among the international elite of new universities proves, according to the teachers who serve there, that has not escaped its objectives in quality studies. This is why the University of Crete has received many international and other academic awards.
