For the year 2016 Greece and Russia are programming a series of cultural events aimed at strengthening the traditional bonds of friendship and collaboration between the two countries.

The “Speak Greek in March” campaign that was launched in 2015 in Australia, will be repeated again this year with greater effort and with more activities. The campaign aims to encourage and to give opportunities to hellenophiles and speakers of Greek to use the language as much as possible in their everyday lives.

A delegation from the Hellenic Parliament met with the Board of PaDEE. During the meeting all matters regarding the relation between Greece and the Greek Diaspora were discussed, with emphasis on the refugee issue.
