For six months (27/9 / 2015-27 / 3/2016) the highly successful exhibition at the National Archaeological Museum "The Antikythera Shipwreck: The ship - the treasures - the mechanism", which marveled over 800,000 visitors in two years will be exhibited in Switzerland.
The report is entitled 'The sunken treasure. The Antikythera Shipwreck "and inaugurated Saturday, September 26, the Basel Museum of Ancient Art and Ludwig Collection. For the first time outside Greece, more than 370 findings of Wreck will be presented in the halls of the museum's temporary exhibitions in about 800 sq.m.
The report develops into five sections, which, apart from the introduction to the socio-historical context of the period, reported in sailing ancient ship (the ship, life on board, the trip), the tragedy of the wreck and its treasures found at the bottom of sea.
