Event to fund the Modern Greek Studies program at the University of Illinois.

The amount of twenty thousand euro was collected at an event to fund the program of Modern Greek Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign city, USA.
The event was organized by the Support Network of Greek Studies, which was created by graduates of the program and Greek-American organizations of the region.
The Consul General of Greece in Chicago, Joanna Efthimiadou, in her speech, among other things, thanked the organizers for their initiative to support the program, which has existed since 2008.
