In a meeting held in the Hellenic Parliament’s Senate Hall which was attended by members of both committees and guests from Italy Mr. Marco Galdi, President of the Philhellenic Society of Italy, Filippo d'Oria, Professor, Scientific Director of the Philhellenic Society of Italy and John Corinthian, Professor, Chairman of the Federation of Greek Communities and Brotherhoods of Italy.

The joint meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Mrs. Catherine Koika  General Director of the Secretariat General for Hellenes Abroad, Mr. Christos Dimitriou, Deputy General Director of the Secretariat General for Hellenes Abroad, Ms. Katerina Giannakis member of the Coordinating Council of Hellenes Abroad Europe-Rome community).

The Philhellenic Society of Italy was established about a year ago to promote the Greek culture, Greek language and tourist arrivals in Greece.
