Across the eastern side of the ancient city of Amphipolis, at the foot of the sacred mountain of antiquity, Pangeon, six other highly elaborate Macedonian type tombs were found and excavated by Dimitris Lazaridis, which gave plenty of useful information on this large urban center of antiquity.
These Macedonian type graves are six and they are located just south of the hellenistic cemetery, where the same archaeologist excavated more than 400 graves. In his essay for Amphipolis, Dimitris Lazaridis, gives many details for these six funerary structures, which make them separately for this period.
