Call for proposals at the Athens Photo Festival 2015.

The Hellenic Centre for Photography addresses call for participation in the Athens Photo Festival 2015.

The Festival theme entitled "Reframing Memory" crosses selected artistic approaches, such as photographic works by contemporary artists, videos and photographic publications, enhancing both the artistic and the social and political dialogue.

There are three main types of proposals:

• Main Programme Reports

• Screening Program

• Photobook Show

 

MAIN PROGRAM

Application Deadline: February 16, 2015

Invitation to photographers, artists and curators from around the world to submit proposals under the central exhibition program of the Athens Photo Festival 2015. The selected proposals will be exhibited at the Benaki Museum (Pireos Street building) from June 3 to July 26, 2015.

 

Viewers

Deadline: 16 March 2015

Call for proposals under the Viewer Athens Photo Festival 2015. The festival incorporates modern ways of storytelling and reading of the image, presenting projects that utilize creative audiovisual media as a vehicle to showcase different perspectives and aspects of social reality.

 

PHOTOBOOK SHOW

Deadline: 16 March 2015

For the first time there will also be a parallel exhibition dedicated to photography book focusing on artist books and aftoekdoseis (self published). The festival call is open to artists and publishers from around the world.
