The 7th Biennial Hellenic Observatory PhD Symposium on Contemporary Greece and Cyprus, will be held on June 4 and 5 2015. An initiative of the Hellenic Observatory, London School of Economics (LSE), the Symposium has attracted PhD students from many different countries, facilitating their contact and collaboration with their peers. It has become one of the most important international meetings for PhD students working on contemporary Greece and Cyprus in the social sciences; it aims to promote their research and to allow them to share and exchange ideas and to gain valuable feedback.
Over the years acclaimed academics have chaired the panels and given keynote lectures at the Symposia: Professors Nikos Christodoulakis, Alexis Heraclides, Paschalis Kitromilides, Costas Lapavitsas, Herakles Polemarchakis, Mr Alexis Papahelas and many more. The extended deadline for abstract submissions is March 2, 2015.
