Once again, children of Greek decent from around the world will meet in Greece, in the frame of the summer philoxenia program hosted by the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad from July through August 2015.
Hopefully, the children will develop long-lasting ties that will affect their future lives in the countries they live, grow and study. It is these ties that will bind the children to Greece, the Greek language and culture and to one-another, helping them build a common conscience of belonging to a greater and borderless family, that of global Hellenism.
Three hundred and maybe more youngsters (age 9-13yo) are expected to participate in the program that will be held at General Secretariat’s camps in Malesina and Epanomi.
Both camps are located in pine-clad, verdurous areas and are close to the sea. They are places where the children can enjoy a variety of camp activities, cultural / educational activities and develop their skills in a friendly and safe environment.
