The Greeks – Agamemnon to Alexander the Great is the most vast and comprehensive exhibition on Ancient Greece ever presented in North America. It brings together more than 500 artifacts from 21 Greek museums, including many pieces never before displayed outside Greece. Among other treasures, visitors will be able to see a number of priceless objects, the result of some unparalleled archaeological discoveries.

The Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Mr. Evangelos Meimarakis, visited Belgrade on the sidelines of his official visit to Serbia and Montenegro. The «Visitor Center» at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is the creation of Greek architecture students, Spyros Giotakis and Agis-Panagiotis Mourelatos chosen, following a competition, by the architect of the Centre, Mr. Renzo Piano.

The First Deputy Speaker and Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs, Mr. Yannis Tragakis, chaired the joint meeting of the Standing Committee on Production and Trade and the Special Standing Committee on European Affairs and the French parliamentary delegation and entrepreneurs - members of the Francophone Economic Forum, discussed: "Tools and policies for the return to growth."

Deputy Foreign Minister Kyriakos Gerontopoulos inaugurated the new building of the Greek school "Athena" (K-9) in Bucharest on 21 October, within the framework of his recent two-day visit to Romania.
