Vice-President and acting President of the World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association (WHIA), Rhode Island State Senator Leonidas Raptakis visit to the Hellenic Parliament.

Inaugurated April, 19th 2021 on the Day of Philhellenism and International Solidarity, with a magnificent event, at the Plenary Hall of the Parliament.

On the occasion of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution and ahead of the opening of the exhibition Beholding Liberty! At the Hellenic Parliament, two centuries later, an online press conference took place at the Senate Hall of the Parliament. The speakers were the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Constantine Tassoulas, the President of the “Greece 2021” Committee, Mrs. Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, the History Professor and member of the Scientific Committee overseeing the Exhibition, Mrs. Maria Efthymiou and the Curator of the Exhibition, Director of the Parliamentary Library Department, Mrs. Maria Kamilaki. 

From December 7-9, the Hellenic Parliament Foundation is organizing an interdisciplinary conference titled “Art and Democracy”. During the conference, historians, political scientists, philosophers, and literary theorists will speak.
