Dar Yasin, an Associated Press photojournalist from Kashmir, was awarded the Yannis Behrakis International Photojournalism Award for his work Kashmir: Endless War.

The Yannis Behrakis International Photojournalism Award, which includes a cash prize, was established through an exclusive grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and will be awarded annually through the Athens Photo World Festival.

The award ceremony will be held as part of Athens Photo World 2020.

At its inaugural event, Athens Photo World, which takes place through an exclusive grant from SNF, honored photojournalist Yannis Behrakis with its exhibitions, activities and a documentary screening, focusing on his long career, award-winning work, and significant contribution to Greek and international photojournalism.
